Had savory and sweet tarts - delicious. There was a line out the door on a weekday lunchtime but it moved fast and I was able to get a seat easily. Friendly staff.

The country blonde bread might be the best bread I've ever had. We stopped in for some sourdough today, and I knew I was in trouble looking at all the amazing pastries and breads. The staff was kind and helpful, and when one item got left out of my bag they even chased me down the street to make sure I got it! I haven't tried everything yet, but I did try the country blonde bread (which they will slice for you- perfect!) and it was delicious .just straight from the loaf with a little butter, and it was so good. I also tried a bite of the valhrona chocolate brownie, and it was rich and delicious too. I have high expectations for the ham croissant, but that will have to wait until tomorrow. The bakery is nice, a little seating, light space and they have a great looking sandwich menu too. This is added to my "must stop" places when I'm In Portland!

The smell when you walk in is like a hug. My son wanted to treat me to brunch and this was the perfect spot. We lucked out there was an empty table for 2. I ordered my coffee, very reasonably price drinks. We got two hot sandwiches. Then I couldn't help but to bring home a few pastries for our breakfast the next day. We brought home a peach danish, morning bun, and goat cheese one at the lower right if the case. All were flaky and delicious. Our favorites were the warmed morning bun and the goat cheese one.

One of my favorite bakeries! Line can form ahead of time and things do run out. They have some seating indoors to enjoy your goods. Delicious baked goods and pastries and loaves of bread too! Street parking only nearby.
